This use case describes the process of setting up an Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) system, which involves many processes ranging from developing a deployment plan through forecasting and procurement, installation of individual devices, initialization of tariffs, setting meter operating parameters, entering and verifying information in inventory, customer and geographic databases, verification of communications, and other functional testing.
