The Sacramento Municipal Utility District designed a consumer behavior study (CBS) to test the impacts of dynamic pricing and enabling smart grid technology on peak load shaving, energy conservation, and customer satisfaction. This final report describes the program background, overview, design, implementation, and analysis methodology, and provides preliminary results based on the data collected during the entire two year study period.
