This report introduces the assessment of as-is grid by non-utility stakeholders, the Advanced Power and Electricity Research Center (APERC), on West Virginia Smart Grid Implementation Plan (WV SGIP) Project. This grid modernization project is to assess the current status of the electric power grid in West Virginia in order to define the potential to implement smart grid technologies.
